I initially went to Osaka, Japan to work at the Osaka City University in the OBGYN department. It was a rich learning experience and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to go there. During the weekends, and the week prior to starting my elective, I travelled across Japan and visited Tokyo, Hakone and Mount Fuji, Osaka and my favourite, Kyoto.
Japan is one of those places that no matter how often you go, there’s always a need to go back.
